The Calidocious Birthday Party
Page under construction: will feature the Calidocious® Inc. annual shareholders meeting, plus supplementary edible products of Calidocious® Inc. The holiday is also meant to honor the legendary Princess Calijfia whose trading realm was quite similar to the future realms of the Dutch East and West Indies companies.
Princes Calijfia (pronounced 'ca-leaf-ee-a'), and who was alternately called 'Califia' or'Calafia', was the heroine of a popular Spanish novel by Garci Rodríguez de Montalvo in the early 1500's, during the period the Spanish were (re)discovering lower California.

The warehouse of the 'Dutch West Indies' Company in Amsterdam was built in 1642. At the same time 'New Amsterdam', which later became New York, began to rapidly expand from a frontier settlement into a city.
Supplemental Calidocious® food and beverages include Rooibos (Redbush) tea imported from the Dutch/Afrikaans-speaking area of South Africa, and non-chocolate candies. .
A projected future product will be spice cookies imported from Flanders and Holland.
Afrikaans is a form of Dutch similar to several of the dialects spoken in Flanders in the 18th century. Some of the "new" grammar of 'California Dutch' is based on Afrikaans.
'Rooibos' (Redbush)-based tea from South Africa is also marketed under the Calidocious brand. A 16-packet box is $14.99.
The 1/4th lb. jar of jellybeans is $14.99 plus shipping.
As with all Calidocious Inc. products, Calidocious Inc. hopes to reduce the prices of tea and candies in the future.
